I have chiefly been interested in the history of intelligence activities in Sweden between 1900 and 1953 (death of Stalin). However the experience of all the neutral states are of potential interest to me. What I would like to know is whether Spanish security and intelligence records for the Second World War have been released. I am particularly interested in the activities of the German agent Fidrmuc aka OSTRO. I would be most interested in hearing from anyone who has any information to give on this subject.

Professor McKay: Greetings! Wherever your interest in the history of intelligence activities in Sweden between 1900 and 1953 overlaps with the Comintern's International Liaison Department (OMS), the Soviet 4th Department (GRU) and pre-Purge OGPU/NVKD, I'm happy to discuss, especially if touching Ignace Reiss and Walter Krivitsky.
